Sarah Catharine Paulson (born December 17 1974) is an American actress from the United States. She has been awarded numerous awards, including the Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine named her one the top 100 artists of the world in 2017. Her popularity grew during the 1990s due to her appearance in TV series like 'Law & Order' and 'American Gothic'. Her performances on popular TV shows like "American Horror Story," "Strip and Game Change' were some of her best-known. Paulson also has appeared in a handful of films. She was in a supporting role in the cult drama film '12 Years a Slave'. It was a huge hit and was awarded three Oscars. She also played a significant role in the romantic drama "Carol," that was also a major success and garnered six Oscar nominations.
