Teryl Rothery
Teryl Rothery is an actor from Canada who garnered fame for portraying Dr. Janet Fraiser in 'Stargate SG-1'. Her other memorable TV roles include Lt. Maggie Weston in 'Exosquad and 'Exosquad', M.O.M. Carol Bloom in Martin Mystery', Grace Sherman and J.L. in "The Good Doctor". On the big screen, she's been in films such as 'Magic in the Water' and 'Whisper' as well as 'What an Idiot'. Born in British Columbia, Rothery had always wanted to be a performer. When she was 13 years old, older, Rothery started her career on stage as a dancer in "Bye Bye Birdie," a musical. For her performance in the theatre company's production of 'Annie Get Your Gun and the 'Annie Get Your Gun' musical, she was awarded the Most Outstanding Performer Award. A talented voice actor, she began her career on television as the voice of Mai in the BLT dub version of the Japanese anime "Dragon Ball" in the year 1986. A year later she was also a screen actress in a show called 'Stingray'. Rothery is active since the year 1980, has over 170 credits in film and television. Rothery made her big screen debut in the 1994 family drama film "Andre". In the 1995 adventure film 'Magic in the Water', she was cast as Beth. In 2005, she was a part in the direct-to-video movie "The Sandlot 2". She acted alongside Jennifer Shirley, Blake Woodruff, Michael Rooker in the crime-drama 'Whisper' (2007). Her most recent cinematic appearance was in the romantic comedy 'What an idiot'.
